Teletoon veteran John Riley has been tapped prexy of Montreal-based Astral Television Networks. He will oversee Astral’s five pay and pay-per-view services: the Movie Network, Moviepix, Viewer’s Choice, Super Ecran and Canal Indigo.

Riley launched Astral-owned Teletoon, the English and French-language children’s networks, in 1996. He replaces Lisa DeWilde.
