Bravo nabs Salter Street satirical series ‘Industry’

Channel has option for 4th installment

TORONTO — Halifax-based Salter Street Films has sold the first three seasons of its satirical TV biz series “Made in Canada” (known south of the border as “The Industry”) to cabler Bravo.

The “Larry Sanders”-style show, which already runs in the U.S. on some PBS affiliates, is the second Salter Street series to be picked up by Bravo, which last year bought “The Awful Truth,” with Michael Moore.

Bravo also has secured an option to pick up the series’ fourth season.

The brainchild of Gerald Lunz, Michael Donovan and Rick Mercer, “The Industry” follows the nasty goings-on at the offices of Pyramid Prods.
