How has your life changed since joining the show?
“It has in two ways. The first thing is the lovely financial security, and just knowing that I have a job to go to, as opposed to the journeyman actor who doesn’t know what is going to happen from month to month. That’s the great part. The not so great part is that I walk through the airport and people ask me for legal advice on occasion, which I find very odd.”
What do you admire most about your character?
“She’s not easily intimidated.”
What part of your character would you like to learn more about?
“So often we just stay with the legal side and the working side of our characters, as opposed to at home. I think maybe now that my character has had a baby, we might explore the softer side of Lindsay, with her home life or her relationship with Bobby.”
What’s your favorite on-set anecdote?
“Looking back on 100 episodes, the first time we all got together for a photo shoot for the show, there were only five of us at the time. It was Steve, Lisa Gay, Dylan, Camryn and myself. We walked onto the stage and stood on our marks to take pictures, and we didn’t know each other at all. It was just this moment of wonder.”
Any interest in being a lawyer in your next life?
“No, there’s just way too much reading involved. I just like pretending.”
