The one chance to catch network execs from competing webs in the same room during upfront week was at William Morris’ annual shindig at 21 Monday.
After surviving his first upfront presentation as NBC prexy-CEO elect, Andrew Lack loosened up with Emeril Lagasse, ebullient star of the Peacock’s new comedy “Emeril.”
“Can someone tell Emeril to turn down the ‘Bam!’?” asked one partygoer.
Fresh off the CNN set, Lou Dobbs toasted his return to “Moneyline” with his agent Wayne Kaback and CNNfn topper Ken Jautz.
Also attending the party were William Morris’ Norman Brokaw, Jim Griffin, Sam Haskell, Jerry Katzman and Lou Weiss; CBS’ Leslie Moonves and Nancy Tellem; NBC’s Bob Wright and Jeff Zucker; Maria Bartiromo, Bernie Brillstein, Drew Carey, Michael Davies, Kevin James, Jamie Kellner, Jeff Sagansky and Brooke Shields.
ABC and WB execs were scarce, perhaps because they were preparing for their presentation the following day.
