Trio of thesps sign for ‘Sin’

Rhames, Oldman, Coppola toplining thriller

Ving Rhames, Gary Oldman and Alicia Coppola are toplining “Sin,” a thriller directed by Michael Stevens. Pic is shooting in Los Angeles and Reno, Nev.

Script, by Tim Willocks (“Swept From the Sea”), concerns a retired cop who, when his wayward sister goes missing, becomes the subject of a mysterious crime boss’ vengeance.

Cast also includes Kerry Washington and Chris Spencer.

Dave Leyrer and Stevens’ Leyrer/Stevens Entertainment is producing the pic with Douglas Urbanski (“The Contender”) and Willocks. Pic is backed with equity financing.

Rhames is repped by CAA, Oldman by Urbanski. Coppola (“Bull”) is repped by the William Morris Agency.

Washington is repped by Abrams Artists, Spencer by ICM.
