Exec upped to director of development

HOLLYWOOD — Matt Moore has been promoted to director of development at New Line Cinema and will be the studio’s principal creative liaison with Ice Cube’s production company, Cubevision.

Cube recently wrapped “All About the Benjamins” for New Line and is readying “Friday After Next” for production this fall.

Moore also will work on films such as “Final Destination 2,” “The Other Side of Simple” and “Billy Two Sugars.”

Moore, who received co-executive producer credit on Cube’s “Next Friday,” joined the company five years ago as a production assistant and also has served as an executive story analyst and as a creative exec. He was executive producer of “Sugar and Spice.”

Moore began his career at UTA in the agent training program.
