Sales agency agreement for 3 more years

Summit Entertainment and Mandalay Pictures have reupped their sales agency agreement under which Summit provides international sales and distribution for Mandalay’s production slate. The new, three-year deal begins in January.

The arrangement is expected to provide three titles a year for Summit. Mandalay has begun production on its most recent film, “Beyond Borders,” which stars Angelina Jolie and Clive Owen and will be repped by Summit overseas. Paramount Pictures handles domestic distribution.

Mandalay and Summit have previously partnered on titles such as “Seven Years in Tibet” starring Brad Pitt, “Donnie Brasco” starring Al Pacino, “Sleepy Hollow” starring Johnny Depp and “The Score” starring Robert De Niro and Edward Norton. Upcoming is “Servicing Sara,” starring Elizabeth Hurley and Matthew Perry.
