‘Jetsons’ finds rewrite pair

Foley, Forman pull out pens for Di Novi, WB

Paul Foley and Dan Forman have come onboard to pen a rewrite on “The Jetsons” for producer Denise Di Novi and Warner Bros.

“Jetsons,” a live-action version of the hit cartoon series, will be directed by Rob Minkoff. Overseeing the project at WB is exec VP Kevin McCormick.

Foley and Forman, repped by the Gersh Agency and Jaret Entertainment, recently set up their spec “The Fraud Prince” with producer Adam Schroeder under his first-look deal at Warner Bros. Comedy is an irreverent riff on classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale “The Frog Prince.”

Forman and Foley are USC grads whose writing assignments include “Treasure of 12th St.” for David Friendly, “Giant Robot” for Henson Pictures and “Park It Here” for Disney.

Their manager, Seth Jaret, is attached to produce their spec “A Chicken and a Monkey Walk Into a Bar” — a project pitched as “Midnight Run” with puppets.
