Jefery Levy (“S.F.W.”) has signed on to direct “Cash Money Sex” for 10 West Prods. Pic was penned by tyro scribe Roxanne Osco, a 19-year-old college student.
Budgeted at just under $10 million, “Cash” is a dark comedy about young adults’ obsessions with material things. Pic is slated to go into production May 28.
“Cash” will be financed through private equity, with 10 West prexy Jason Glasgow serving as executive producer. William Osco produces.
Levy, who also helmed “Inside Monkey Zetterland,” is directing the TBS series “Invincible” for Alliance Atlantis and Icon Entertainment. His other television directing credits include “Roswell,” “Dark Angel,” “Freakylinks” and “Get Real.” He is repped by UTA.
