Germany’s Ambient nets toon coin

German production company Ambient Entertainment has been given the greenlight for state financing for Germany’s first computer-generated animated feature.

“Back to Gaya” will be directed by Lenard F. Krawinkel (“Sumo Bruno”) and is being co-written by Jan Berger. Film, which is about a small creature living in the paradise of Gaya, is aiming for a winter 2003 release.
