Film grads win funds

The Nordic Film & TV Fund has awarded $12,500 each to two film school grads after inviting 25 to pitch for the funds.

Currently attending the Polish National Film School in Lodz, Icelandic writer-director Arni Olafur Asgeirsson won for his “Fifty Yars — Minus” project, while Danish Film School students Martin Strange-Hansen, Flemming Klem and Mie Andreasen took the prize for “When People Meet,” based on Danish author Finn Soeborg’s short stories.
