Thomas Castaneda, Steven O’Dell and Tanya Alves have joined consultancy Nadia Bronson & Associates, which offers services for international distribution, marketing and promotions.
Castaneda, formerly VP of publicity at Universal Pictures, worked on international publicity campaigns for films including “Shakespeare in Love,” “Gladiator,” “The Mummy Returns” and “Hannibal” as well as on Golden Globe campaigns for “Billy Elliot” and “Erin Brockovich.”
O’Dell spent seven years with UIP, where he was general manager in Brazil, Austria, Chile and Mexico, while Alves comes onboard after four years as VP and general manager at Metro Studios. Before that, she spent five years in U’s motion picture finance department.
Bronson also announced the appointments of publicist Andrew Thomas, marketing coordinator Jackie Madjerian and publicity coordinator Lee Moss.
Company is working on “Tomb Raider,” “K-Pax,” “Rat Race” and “Killing Me Softly” as well as Golden Globe campaigns for Miramax on “Gangs of New York,” “Amelie From Montmartre” and “The Shipping News.”
