Hagen to run marketing for Global Animation

Exec to o'see worldwide client development

Global Animation, the parent company of motion capture studio Spectrum Studios, has tapped Michelle Hagen vice president of marketing and business development. She will oversee worldwide client development of Global Animation’s three studios, which include ImagineAsia and VirtualMagic Asia in Manila. She reports to Global Animation CEO David Forbes.

Hagen recently spent four years as veep of worldwide marketing at Imax, where she worked with Forbes. She also was veep of national promotions and field operations for Orion Pictures/Goldwyn Entertainment. Before that, she was director of national promotions and field operations at Fox Searchlight Pictures.

Separately, Spectrum Studios recently tapped Demian Gordon as motion capture supervisor and Catherine Jing Luo as director of business development. Company recently completed work for the next two installments of Warner Bros.’ “The Matrix.”

Gordon has worked on film, television and vidgame projects at Mainframe Entertainment, Pacific Title/Mirage, Performance Capture Studios, Outcast and Electronic Arts Canada.
