NT Media Corp., the parent of entertainment Netcaster Neurotrash.com, has pacted with business development venture EnterTec Group to launch a joint consulting service that will help introduce technology and media businesses in Israel and Europe to the U.S. entertainment arena and to Hollywood companies looking to boost their presence overseas. Move boosts NT Media’s already existing consulting group.
Under terms of the deal, EnterTec will build client relationships while NT Media will handle the day-to-day management in the U.S. Both companies will collaborate on client strategies and closing client deals. The joint venture will focus on technology companies in the feature film, broadcasting, music, gaming and new-media industries. It will generate revenues from consulting fees, success fees and equity. The duo expect to represent 20 clients by the end of 2002.
The joint venture will be headed by a yet-to-be-named manager who will report directly to both NT Media CEO Chris Mehringer and David Chissick, chairman and CEO of EnterTec.
Los Angeles-based NT Entertainment consists of film and television production/finance division NT Entertainment, full-service management division NT Management, strategy consulting and business development group NT Consulting and Neurotrash.com.
