LONDON — Intermedia has posted sales of 62.2 million euros ($56.7 million) for the first half of the year, up 18% on the same period last year. Operating profit for the U.S.-European film group was $365,000.

Company said its results were in line with forecasts.

During the period, Intermedia completed principal photography on nine pics. Deals included a production alliance with Kevin Spacey’s Trigger Street Prods. and the forming of Intermedia Music to handle the group’s music interests and soundtracks.

Analysts said the third and fourth quarters of 2001 will be the real measure of Intermedia’s performance.
