Catch 23 Management adds Woodward to team

Exec to help expand talent group's services, client base

HOLLYWOOD — Catch 23 Entertainment has hired talent manager Anne Woodward to join its management arm.

Formerly of Industry Entertainment, Woodward is C23 Management’s first hire following the appointment of John Carrabino as exec VP of the newly launched talent management group. She will report to Carrabino and C23 Entertainment president Jeremy Barber.

Woodward will work with Carrabino and Barber to expand C23’s services and client base. She also will work closely with C23’s production and film finance staff to identify development and production opportunities for the talent management division’s clients.

C23’s plans call for hiring additional literary and talent managers, and the company continues to explore the possibility of acquiring or allying itself with established management companies in the U.S.

C23 recently announced a production alliance with ICM U.K., which included the hiring of Rebecca Wood.

Before joining Industry in 1996, Woodward worked in casting for talent manager Mary Goldberg on such films as Nora Ephron’s “Michael” and Stephen Sommers’ “Deep Rising,” and on numerous TV projects, including “Relativity” for Edward Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz’s Bedford Falls Co.
