You haven’t heard the last of O-Town.

ABC is close to ordering more episodes of “Making the Band,” the Bunim-Murray reality series that chronicles boy-band svengali Lou Pearlman and the five members of his latest creation, O-Town.

While only posting so-so numbers in its Friday-night run this summer, “Making the Band” has developed a cult following with viewers and has a large number of fans inside ABC.

“It’s the lowest-rated show that everybody’s watching,” one ABC exec said.

Most recently, the network announced that the boys of O-Town will appear on “All My Children” Sept. 18. Network execs note that additional episodes could chronicle the band as it finally signs a label deal and goes into the recording studio.

For now, original segs of “Making the Band” will continue into September.

ABC had no comment on a new deal for “Making the Band.”
