HBO has got ’N Sync.

The pay cabler will broadcast the boy band’s first live television concert July 27 from Madison Square Garden.

The group’s new CD “No Strings Attached” recently set a record by selling 2.4 million copies in its first week — it’s been the No. 1 release on the charts for six straight weeks, with sales already topping seven million in the U.S. alone.

“ ’N Sync Live From Madison Square Garden” will feature the Orlando, Fla.-based group during its 41-city North American tour, which began Tuesday and wraps July 30. Marty Callner will produce and direct the concert for Cream Cheese Prods.

Completed pass

Meanwhile, HBO announced Tuesday that recently retired Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino will join “Inside the NFL” broadcast team as a co-host for the 2000 season. Cable TV’s longest running series, “Inside the NFL” will kick off its 24th season Aug. 31.
