CTV vets reassigned

Fox, Schwartz, Beeforth move up up north

TORONTO — Canadian web CTV has put new exec producers into place at two of its most popular news shows and appointed a new executive at its specialty channel Sportsnet.

Malcolm Fox has been taken from his post at CTV’s Beijing bureau to become executive producer of the popular public affairs program “W-Five.” Jordan Schwartz has been moved from his post as exec producer of CTV’s talk and lifestyle programming division to exec produce CTV’s flagship morning show “Canada A.M.”

In addition, Doug Beeforth, a 10-year CTV veteran, has been named VP and general manager of Sportsnet, effective immediately.
