BWW plans four webs

Local outfit Broadcast Worldwide announced this week plans to launch four more channels in India.

Company airs Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali and Punjabi-lingo channels under the Tara brand name. Two of the new channels will be in Bengali, with one each in Tamil and Bhojpuri.

BWW is a joint venture owned partly by CEO Rathikant Basu and Sterling Infotech. Rupert Murdoch holds a 5% stake.
