The AFI has tapped Rachel Peller to the post of director of public relations. Peller, who rejoins the institute after a two-year absence, was most recently senior account manager for promotions agency the Creative Couch. She has also served stints as manager of corporate publicity at Sony Pictures, and worked for the New Yorker and Vanity Fair. Peller’s appointment is part of the reorganization of AFI’s marketing, publications and combinations departments.
