Clifton Collins Jr. (aka Clifton Gonzalez Gonzalez) has landed a supporting role in helmer Steven Soderbergh’s “Traffic” with Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Collins, who just wrapped Joel Schumacher’s “Tigerland” for New Regency, is repped by Innovative Artists and managed by Steven Fenton and Oren Koules of Evolution Entertainment and David Krintzman of Barnes, Morris, Klein & Yorn.

Another “Traffic” addition is thesp Jacob Vargas (“Selena”), who’s also joined the cast of the WB’s “Wall to Wall Records” for helmer Joshua Brand (“Northern Exposure”). Vargas is repped by Paradigm and Seven Summits.

Siberian supermodel Irina Pantaeva (Woody Allen’s “Celebrity”) will join John Goodman as a series regular in Carsey-Warner’s half-hour sitcom “Don’t Ask.” The show, created by Bonnie and Terry Turner (“That ’70s Show”) already has a 13-episode commitment from Fox.

Pantaeva is repped by Mitchell K. Stubbs of Mitchell K. Stubbs & Associates and managed by Elissa Leeds-Fickman of Reel Talent Management.

Lisa Wilhoit, last seen as Tom Arnold’s daughter on his short-lived 1997 series “The Tom Show,” has joined the cast of the CBS pilot “The Rocky LaPorte Project.” Wilhoit is repped by Bonnie Liedtke at Gold/Marshak/Liedtke and manager Ken Jacobson of James/Levy/Jacobson.

“Saturday Night Live” cast member Ana Gasteyer is set to join Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt in Paramount’s “What Women Want.” She’s repped by William Morris and Gold/Miller Management.

Also on board for “What Women Want” is Oscar-nommed thesp Valerie Perrine (“Lenny”), who’s repped by Frank Gonzales at the Agency.
