Cliff Cunningham

Cliff Cunningham, an industry art director, set decorator and production designer, died April 18 at his home in Silverlake due to complications from cancer. He was 36.

Cunningham had been working in the industry for over a decade and was known for his work on musicvideos for artists including Prince, Bonnie Raitt, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Dolly Parton.

Cunningham broke into feature films as set decorator on such pics as “Untamed Heart” in 1993 and “Suburban Commando” in 1991. Small screen credits include production designer work on “A Chance of Snow” in 1998 and “The Muppets Tonight” in 1996.

He is survived by his partner, Pedro, his mother, an aunt, a sister, brother-in-law and two nephews.
