Ari Sloane, who served as the associate producer of “The Mirror Has Two Faces,” died Jan. 26 in Los Angeles from AIDS complications. He was 36.
In 1996, Sloane served as associate producer for the Barbra Streisand starrer “The Mirror Has Two Faces.” Several years earlier he served as Streisand’s assistant when she directed “Prince of Tides.”
A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Sloane freelanced as a television producer and coordinated musicvideo post-production before moving to Los Angeles.
Sloane was also development director for Bleeker Street/Fonda Films, and served as associate producer on TNT’s “Broken Trust,” “Lakota Woman” and “Two for Texas.”
