HOLLYWOOD — Universal Studios has promoted veteran labor exec Keith Gorham to senior vice president, industrial relations, from VP, industrial relations.
Gorham, who joined Universal in 1984 as director of industrial relations, is responsible for supervising and coordinating the company’s labor relations activities, which include negotiating, administering and formulation of policies for all collective bargaining agreements applicable to the operation of Universal Pictures and the Universal Studios Operating Group.
Gorham also oversees coordination and administration of labor relations for Studios USA Television, and represents Universal on the board of the Alliance of Motion Pictures & Television Producers, serving as U’s chief negotiator in film industry collective bargaining.
He will continue to report to Karen Randall, exec VP and general counsel.
“Keith is an outstanding negotiator who has consistently represented our company well both at the bargaining table and in industry forums,” she said.
