NBC days ABC’s Kalouria

Exec to replace Lee

NEW YORK — NBC Entertainment has appointed ABC daytime exec Sheraton Kalouria senior VP, daytime programs.

Kalouria will replace Susan D. Lee, who has ankled the post after 17 years with the Peacock.

Reporting to NBC Enterprises prexy Garth Ancier, Kalouria will oversee and supervise the daytime dramas “Days of Our Lives” and “Passions,” and spearhead the development and strategic planning for daytime dramas.

“In the area of daytime drama, the key to future success is finding unique and groundbreaking ways to reach our key customers,” Ancier said. “Sheraton has achieved this success and more as part of the ABC daytime team, and we’re looking forward to his contributions.”

As veep of marketing and promotion for daytime at ABC, Kalouria was responsible for the creative direction of all on-air promotion and paid advertising. He also directed the redesign of ABC.com Web sites that serve daytime programming.

Since joining ABC in 1993, Kalouria held various posts at the company, including director of marketing for “The Wonderful World of Disney” and ABC’s children’s programming. He was also responsible for the brand management and promotional efforts for the Alphabet children’s lineup Disney’s One Saturday Morning, one half-hour of which recently ended “Pokemon’s” 54-week streak atop the Saturday ayem kidvid ratings.
