Mark Feuerstein has “What Women Want.” The thesp has been cast opposite Mel Gibson in the upcoming Paramount pic.
Feuerstein most recently starred opposite Penelope Cruz in “Woman on Top” and also toplines Par’s upcoming Billy Friedkin-helmed “Rules of Engagement.” He has previously been seen as Sandra Bullock’s husband in “Practical Magic” and as Albert Brook’s nemesis as a vapid studio exec in “The Muse.”
In “Women,” he’ll play Morgan, a cocky protege and best friend of Gibson’s leading character. Gibson plays a chauvinistic ad exec who, after an accident, acquires the ability to hear what every woman he meets is really thinking.
Pic is being produced by Gibson and Bruce Davey’s Icon Prods. and by helmer Nancy Meyers, along with Wind Dancer Films’ Susan Cartsonis and Roundtable Entertainment’s Gina Matthews.
Feuerstein was repped in the deal by Innovative Artists.
