HOLLYWOOD — Henry Thomas, who can next be seen in Billy Bob Thornton’s “All The Pretty Horses,” has signed on to three indie pics, all slated to go this summer.

First is “The Quickie,” to be helmed by Sergei Bodrov, director of the Oscar-nominated “Prisoner of the Mountains.” Bodrov co-wrote the screenplay with Carolyn Cavallero; he will also produce with Christoph Friedel, Renhard Brundig and Alain Silver.

In “Quickie,” Thomas will play an aspiring L.A. musician who finds himself in danger. Pic, which will be shot in Los Angeles, also stars Vladimir Mashkov, Dean Stockwell, Sergei Bodrov Jr. and Lesley Ann Warren.

The actor will segue into “Briar Patch,” to be directed by Zev Berman from a script by Deborah Pryor. Producers are Lauren Moews, Sam Froelich and Andrea Magder. Peter Wetherell will exec produce. Lensing is slated for July in Highpoint, N.C.

Thomas stars opposite Arie Verveen and Dominique Swain as a petty thief who imprisons his unhappy wife, who in turn schemes to murder him.

The thesp again stars opposite Swain in “Dead in Water,” written and to be directed by Gustavo Lipsztein. Producers are Evan Astrowsky, Gustavo Lipsztein, Georg Lipsztein, Jay So and Elisa Tolomeli. The thriller centers on three Americans who take a boat trip off the coast of Rio.

Thomas is repped by Tracy Brennan and Scott Wexler of ICM.
