Debbi Morgan (“The Hurricane,” “Eve’s Bayou”) has signed to star in “Strong Medicine,” a one-hour pilot for Lifetime Television. Whoopi Goldberg will exec produce.
Morgan is repped by Mitchell K. Stubbs. The deal was brokered by her manager, Elissa Leeds-Flickman of Reel Talent Management.
Ex-“Baywatch” and “Melrose Place” vixen Alexandra Paul will head to New Zealand to co-star with Ron Silver in the indie feature “Exposure.” Paul is repped by Daniel Sladek and Innovative Artists.
Tim Guinee has been tapped for a supporting role in Dimension Films’ “Impostor,” starring Gary Sinese and Madeleine Stowe.
Guinee, who starred in last fall’s short-lived “Strange World” for ABC, is repped by Gersh’s Larry Taube.
Lisa Thornhill (“Ally McBeal,” “Jesse”) will appear with Nicolas Cage in Beacon Films/Universal Pictures’ “Family Man,” directed by “Rush Hour” helmer Brett Ratner.
Thornhill is repped by Mitchell K. Stubbs and managed by Elissa Leeds-Fickman of Reel Talent Management.
