Launched in 1999, Planeta 2010 began to make individual pic acquisitions this year. At Cannes, Planeta has also acquired the Hanway Films-sold animated feature “Help! I’m a Fish.”

In its first major TV deal, inked at this April’s Mip TV market, Planeta 2010 announced a joint venture with Germany’s EM.TV & Merchandising, Planeta Junior, to distrib kidfare programming in Spain and Portugal.
