Pathe finds Kismet in first-look deal

Pathe Pictures, one of the U.K.’s three lottery franchises, has signed a first-look deal with Michele Camarda’s Kismet Film Co.

The American-born Camarda’s credits include David Kane’s “Born Romantic” (which premiered at this year’s Toronto Intl. Film Festival) and “This Year’s Love,” as well as Michael Winterbottom’s “Wonderland.”

She is currently prepping “Dr. Sleep” with her director husband, Nick Willing, with whom she previously worked on “Photographing Fairies.”
