Director Rolfe Kanefsky and producer Alain Siritzky have assembled the third in a teen-oriented series, “Pretty Cool.”
Pic is skedded to start shooting July 5 in the Roger Corman Venice studios, which is slated to be torn down after the shoot at the end of August.
Pic, scripted by Kanefsky, centers on a high school senior able to read people’s minds and control their thoughts.
Alexis Thorpe, Summer Altice, Cecilia Berqvist and Amy Brassette will star.
Two other teen pics produced by Siritzky are the Keri Russell starrer “The Curve” and the Kanefsky-helmed “Midnight 5.”
Kanefsky just finished “Midnight 5,” which screens next week and seeks a domestic distribber. Pic, which stars Alexis Arquette and Carol Kane, is about a group of USC students who take a videostore hostage for the night.
