Italian actress Francesca Neri has snagged the female lead opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Bel-Air Entertainment/Warner Bros. Pictures production “Collateral Damage.”
Pic, helmed by Andrew Davis (“The Fugitive”) and produced by Steve Reuther and David Foster, is the story of a man who loses his wife and child in a terrorist bombing and then teams with the wife (Neri) of the man who killed his family to seek revenge.
Film editor-turned-screenwriter Ronald Roose penned the screenplay, with rewrites from Terry George and Channing Gibson.
Neri recently wrapped a co-starring role in Ridley Scott’s “Hannibal,” her first major English-language part. She previously starred in more than a dozen Italian-language films as well as Pedro Almodovar’s “Live Flesh.” She is repped by Phillip D. Button at Blue Train Entertainment.
