Robert Forster has joined the cast of Shavick Entertainment’s ensemble drama “Finders Fee.” Pic marks the directorial debut of Jeff Probst, host of TV’s “Survivor” and “Rock & Roll Jeopardy,”, who also wrote the screenplay.
Forster was nominated for an Oscar for “Jackie Brown” and appears in the upcoming Jim Carrey starrer “Me Myself & Irene.”
“Finders Fee” is a psychological thriller about a struggling street artist (Erik Palladino) who finds a wallet and discovers it contains a winning lottery ticket worth $6 million. He and his poker buddies (Matthew Lillard and Ryan Reynolds) become trapped inside a apartment with the owner (James Earl Jones) of the wallet.
Principal photography begins July 3 in Vancouver.
Katy Wallin of MysticArt Pictures, who is exec producing “Romantic Comedy101” for E!, and Brad Van Arragon are producing “Finders Fee.” James Shavick and Shawn Williamson are exec producing for Shavick Entertainment, which is co-producing “Murder at Cannes” with E!
Forster is repped by Paradigm Agency and Pure Entertainment. Matthew Thompson of Stroock, Stroock and Lavan, LLP brokered the deal for Wallin and Probst.
