Benjamin Bratt is set to star opposite Sandra Bullock in Donald Petrie’s “Miss Congeniality” for Castle Rock Entertainment and Warner Bros.
Bullock portrays a rookie FBI agent who goes undercover at a beauty pageant that is threatened by a terrorist. Bratt will portray Bullock’s partner.
Production begins Tuesday in Austin, Texas.
Bratt, who was last seen starring opposite Madonna and Rupert Everett in “The Next Best Thing” for Paramount Pictures, recently completed filming “After the Storm” for Trimark and USA Networks. Also upcoming for Bratt is a starring role in Burt Reynolds’ indie directorial effort, “The Last Producer” and Antony Hoffman’s “Red Planet” with Val Kilmer and Carrie-Anne Moss for Warner Bros.
ICM and attorney Bob Myman of Myman, Abell, Fineman & Greenspan represent Bratt.
