Tivix.com rustles up $4.8 mil in coin

Funds to enhance technological capabilities, build partnerships

Tivix.com, an L.A.-based online marketplace for film and TV program sales and distribution, has completed a $4.8 million round of financing led by Red Rock Ventures, with additional funding by Garage.com, the Sapling Foundation and D.S. Capital.

Tivix.com will use these funds to further enhance its technological capabilities and continue to build strategic partnerships with program distributors.

“Tivix was founded by seasoned programming executives who sought to diminish the financial and logistical challenges facing the international film and television marketplace,” said Tivix CEO and co-founder Eric Rennagel.

“This round of funding, coupled with our highly experienced management team and board of advisers, virtually ensures that Tivix will continue to be the leader in this space,” he added.
