NBC Internet Inc. has reported a 165% jump in first-quarter revenues of $30.1 million while posting a lower net loss of $37.4 million, compared with last quarter’s $50.9 million.
Revenues for the period ended March 31, include revs from Xoom.com, Snap and the NBC Multimedia Division (which consists of NBC.com, NBC Interactive Neighborhood and VideoSeeker).
“NBCi continues to perform well financially, with our revenues and gross margins pointing in the right direction,” said Will Lansing, NBCi’s CEO. “Furthermore, we strengthened our leadership positions in direct e-commerce and broadband with the respective launches of NBCi Direct, our e-list management and database marketing division, and NBCi.com, our dedicated portal for broadband and high-speed users.”
NBCi has 19.3 million registered members.
