Mondo Media grabs Honkworm’s ‘Fishbar’

Company will syndicate skein to other dot-coms

Internet company Mondo Media has inked a deal to syndicate Honkworm.com’s original Web series “Fishbar” to other dot-coms. The 19 Webisodes, which star two foul-mouthed fish who sip suds, was created by Honkworm founder Johan Liedgren and art director Janet Galore. Honkworm will create seven more Webisodes for syndication, enabling Mondo Media to offer the 26-program package as six months of new content if updated on a weekly basis. Mondo Media has previously created and developed content for Web sites such as Entertaindom, Excite@Home, Lycos, NBCi and Shockwave.
