'Teletubbies' co. also pushes 'Eloise' into film

Gotham-based Itsy Bitsy Entertainment Co., best known for children’s television programming “Teletubbies,” will bow four live Web-based shows targeting children and families next month. “The Granny Review,” “Mom Chat,” “Big Back Yard” and “Jeffrey Doodles” will air on the Internet Sept. 11 on http://www.itsybitsytv.com.

The 20- to 30-minute programs will be shot in Toronto using a three-camera broadcast studio. Company will also relaunch its destination site (www.itsybitsye.com) with a redesign by Unbound Studios, the company behind Nickelodeon’s nick.com.

Itsy Bitsy Entertainment recently announced its first foray into feature films with an adaptation of Kay Thompson’s “Eloise” which is skedded to bow summer 2002.
