Veteran ICM agent Paul Haas, who just nine months ago was upped to head of TV packaging, is ankling the tenpercentery.
Haas’ contract is up at the end of April, but insiders said he could exit as soon as late February. That’s when Haas is free to begin formal negotiations with other companies; should he ink a deal with another agency at that time, ICM could allow Haas to exit early.
ICM co-prexy Nancy Josephson confirmed Haas’ exit. “I wish him well in his future endeavors,” she said.
While Haas didn’t return calls Wednesday, industry insiders said he may already be set to join AMG. Endeavor and William Morris have also been mentioned as possible homes.
Haas has been at ICM for nearly eight years, following a four-year stint at a smaller agency. He headed the TV lit department before his March promotion.
