Universal Pictures has tapped veteran marketing executive Pamela Blum as senior vice president, marketing services.
Blum, who most recently served as vice president, marketing services, will continue to coordinate marketing activities of Universal within the media, creative advertising, publicity, promotion and in-theater areas. She will also serve as liaison for cross-divisional marketing with other Universal operations and continue to report to Edward Egan, executive vice president, marketing.
“Pam has been an invaluable resource to the marketing division, as well as to the studio as a whole,” Egan said. “Her knowledge of Universal’s entertainment properties and her resources within the company, coupled with her creativity and marketing acumen, have made her remarkably effective in overseeing the consistency and timeliness of our marketing campaigns.”
Blum joined Universal in 1992 as manager, marketing services, and was promoted to director, marketing services, in 1994.
