Bedi A. Singh, CFO for Sony Pictures Entertainment, announced Wednesdaya broad restructuring of Sony’s finance organization.
The move, designed to streamline operations, promotes four execs to de facto CFO status for their respective divisions at Sony.
Robert Housel, currently senior veepee for Col TriStar Home Video, was promoted to CFO for both the homevideo and motion picture divisions. Mark Lebowitz, currently a senior veepee for Col TriStar’s Television Group, was upped to CFO for the group, and will expand his duties. Both Lebowitz and Housel will head new business development for their divisions.
Also promoted was Frank Kohler, senior veepee of studio operations, who will add the additional responsibility of managing the purse strings for Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment.
Finally, Charles Falcetti, currently a senior veepee and corporate controller, will become senior and chief accounting officer.
