NEW YORK — Live entertainment powerhouse SFX Entertainment Wednesday announced the formation of an executive team for its worldwide marketing efforts to focus on strategic marketing alliances between SFX and leading corporations.
Paula Balzer, president of SFX Marketing, will be joined by exec veeps Bruce Eskowitz, Robert Mazzucchelli and Greg Hagglund, senior veepee Richard Lobel and VP Lisa Juris. Most are new to the company or joined when SFX bought their firms in an acquisition rampage that has made it the biggest in its business.
Largest of its kind
SFX, which agreed this year to be acquired by powerful radio group Clear Channel Communications, is the largest producer, promoter and presenter of live entertainment events. The marketing team will work to clinch corporate alliances on a global and national basis.
Balzer said SFX will soon launch a Trends & Insights Group to track consumer behavior and provide its clients data based “on the 60 million consumers who will attend more than 26,000 SFX-presented live entertainment events this year.”
