Seagram’s subsid Joseph E. Seagram & Sons has tapped Jennifer L. Bendall senior federal lobbyist, the company announced Wednesday.
In her new position, starting Jan. 31, Bendall will concentrate especially on Seagram’s entertainment interests while covering a range of other business issues. She’ll report to recently appointed VP of entertainment public policy Matt Gerson in the company’s Washington D.C.-based Public Policy and Government Relations office.
“Jennifer is a terrific person who has a thorough understanding of both the entertainment industry and how government works,” said Gerson. “Her intelligence, good judgment and tenacity will be great assets to this office and the company.”
Bendall comes to Seagram’s from the Recording Industry Association of America, where she was senior VP for government affairs. Before that she worked for Senator Richard Shelby, R-Ala.
