Culver City-based Pittard Sullivan has created a PR wing to be headed by Dan Harary, who will be veepee of the new division.
The showbiz marketing communications company has created the Pittard Sullivan Public Relations Group to service its clients.
“We can now offer every conceivable service related to marketing, including branding, advertising, promotion and publicity on behalf of our clients, their companies, and their projects, across all media platforms,” said co-CEO/prexy Billy Pittard in a statement.
Ed Sullivan, who shares his company title with Pittard, added that the firm “now has the ability to offer PR as an extended service to those companies that may wish to add that specialty into their overall marketing strategies.”
Harary has directed the company’s PR campaigns since 1996.
He will retain ownership in Asbury Communications, of which he is prexy and founder. In the past four years, Asbury’s clients have included Landmark Entertainment Group, “Star Trek: The Experience,” Spumco Animation Studios, the Hollywood Film Festival, the World Animation Celebration and the Israel Film Fest.
Before founding Asbury, Harary worked at such companies as Columbia Pictures, the American Film Institute and the Playboy Channel.
