The NBC Agency, the net’s newly created inhouse advertising arm, has stepped up operations, adding four senior veeps to its ranks.
Jim Vescera has been upped to senior VP of on-air advertising; Vivi Zigler, advertising services; Frank Radice, advertising and promotion, East Coast; and Jenness Brewer, print advertising and digital design.
Reporting to agency prexy John Miller and exec VP and creative director Vince Manze, all will drum up buzz for NBC programming as well as the Peacock’s cable and Web properties, including Snap.com, CNBC, CNBC.com and MSNBC.
Vescera will lead NBC’s on-air promotions team and oversee the campaigns of Snap.com and CNBC. A 12-year NBC vet, he will also supervise NBC 2000, designing transitions between the company’s primetime, daytime, latenight and Saturday-morning blocks.
Prior to his most recent NBC post as VP of on-air promotions, Vescera headed up the ABC ad department, directing the launches of ABC series “The Practice” and “Dharma and Greg” and the net’s “We Love TV” campaign.
Zigler will lead NBC Agency’s account services division while continuing her most recent work overseeing NBC’s affiliate promotions department. She will also steer the company’s media planning and buying operations.
Before teaming with NBC, Zigler was director of marketing and advertising for Seattle station KING 5, responsible for its promotion, graphic design and public affairs.
As the agency’s East Coast topper, eight-year NBC vet Radice will supervise the promotion of NBC series “Saturday Night Live” and “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” while also coming to the creative aid of CNBC, CNBC.com and MSNBC. Radice was upped from VP of the net’s advertising and promotions division.
Previously, Radice worked 11 years at ABC News, producing “Nightline,” “ABC Evening News” and “The Last Word With Phil Donahue and Greg Jackson.”
Rounding out the NBC Agency group, 16-year NBC vet Brewer will tackle CNBC and CNBC.com ad work while continuing her most recent work overseeing the net’s print advertising division. She will also control all of NBC’s online advertising, consisting of banners, display ads and e-mail.
Prior to NBC, Brewer was director of advertising and promotions for CBS Sports.
