It’s a wrap on a least one portion of the “Dieter” litigation, with sources confirming that Mike Myers and Imagine Entertainment have a signed settlement agreement.
“I’m very pleased with the settlement,” said Imagine’s attorney, Bert Fields. A settlement between Myers and Universal Pictures is believed to be imminent, but has not yet been signed. Details of the settlement were not disclosed, but sources said that Imagine will produce another Myers creation in lieu of “Dieter,” presumably for Universal, and DreamWorks would have a major financial role.
