Robert J. Wynne, former co- prexy and chief operating officer of Sony Pictures Entertainment, has been named to Netro Corporation’s board of directors.
As a member of the board, Wynne will bring Netro a viewpoint on the opportunities given by the concurrence of media and technology, including future broadband content application.
Previously, Wynne played a key role in the successful operating performance of Sony Pictures during the past five years and in positioning the company as an important part of Sony’s global broadband strategy.

Lifetime has named Paul Jennings as senior VP of finance for Lifetime Entertainment Services.
In his new position, Jennings will be responsible for Lifetime’s accounting operations, finance, treasury and strategic planning.
Most recently VP of strategic planning, Jennings joined Lifetime in 1990 as director of financial reporting and budgeting. Prior to that, Jennings worked at PriceWaterhouse as an audit manager in the entertainment division.

Todd Tarpley has been upped to VP of A&E Television Network Interactive.
In his new post, Tarpley will be responsible for managing AETN Interactive and its six Web sites, which just launched last month. In addition, he will be in charge of expanding A&E’s broadband and interactive television initiatives.
Previously director of AETN Interactive, Tarpley joined the cabler in 1993 helping to develop and launch the History Channel.

Paulette Osorio has been upped to senior VP of publicity and promotions at Castle Rock Entertainment.
Osorio will oversee all media relations and worldwide publicity activities for Castle Rock’s film and TV divisions.
Prior to joining Castle Rock in 1996 as director of field publicity, Osorio served as an account supervisor at Chicago-based public relations agency John Iltis & Associates.
Also at Castle Rock, Gaylyn Fraiche has been upped to creative exec. She previously assisted company prexy Martin Shafer.
Other promotions include Dave Blasucci to director of publicity services; Ian Metrose, director of publicity and promotions; and Pam Singleton, manager of the studio’s creative advertising division.
