Publicity firm Clein + White senior execs Kim Dixon, Judy Dixon and Heather Burgett have elected to depart the boutique agency to launch Dominion3, which will specialize in marketing, public relations and consulting for entertainment and new-media clients.
Clein + White’s Ali Forman and Jose Martinez will also join the company.
“Since Harry Clein announced his semi-retirement last November from publicity, we have been heading up the publicity efforts for Clein + White,” Dixon said. “The decision to create our own banner is a natural progression, and Mr. Clein has been extremely supportive of our move.”
Independent spirit
Dominion3 will specialize in independent and studio feature films, filmmakers, production studios, events and talent. New media is also a priority.
At Clein + White, the departing execs have worked with such companies as the Independent Film Channel; director Wolfgang Petersen; and Klasky Csupo (creators of “The Rugrats”); Eveo.com; and the release campaign for Phoenix Pictures’ “Urban Legends: Final Cut.”
“Over the past months, we have started repping new-media clients and are excited about the emerging trends and opportunities that are occurring in the entertainment space, especially for filmmakers,” said Burgett. “We will continue to keep our feet rooted firmly in the indie film scene while also adapting to the changing industry and its new medium for film exhibition and distribution.”
