MILAN — A lifestyle channel called Alice will be launched Dec. 15 on an Astra satellite. Test transmission initiated this week.
The channel is in four languages (Italian, French, English and German) and is a basic-tier digital TV service for an existing European audience of more than 3 million households equipped for digital TV reception.
Alice will be primarily dedicated to the world of the kitchen and the home, but will also look at health, beauty and travel. A Rome-based company called Sitcom will operate the channel.
